We all have our own spooky traditions; What’s your favorite way to enjoy a cup of coffee during this ghoulish season?
Ambience is key. I find that coffee enjoyed in my laboratory, surrounded by the flickering lights, helps me to unwind.
What type of coffee are you usually drawn to?
I’m drawn to the darkest roasts, more intense coffees. I find that they provide me with just the right buzz and lend well to brewing experiments.
When you created your Halloween-themed coffee, what inspiration did you have in mind?
I was inspired by the dark and mysterious atmosphere of a stormy October evening, with notes of thunder and lightning.
What’s your go-to brew method?
You may be surprised to find my laboratory is also the home of my brew lab. I have designed a special espresso machine that gives me a unique jolt of energy.
Halloween is all about tricks. Any pranks you’ve played so far this season?
I haven’t played any pranks this season, but I did accidentally shock a few lab assistants while developing my Dark and Stormy recipe. Does that count?
