Description
Aidé Garro returns to our menu for a fifth time with another impeccably washed chiroso. This is an incredible heirloom variety—once thought to be a local mutation of caturra specific to Antioquia, Colombia, but now believed to have a mysterious genetic link with Ethiopian landraces.
Aidé and her husband, Pedro, cultivate this variety exclusively on their farm, Finca El Eden. In the cup, it's a beautiful expression of the classic chiroso flavor profile—floral like gesha, but sweeter and rounder. This will shine in any brewing method with lovely notes of watermelon candy, cherry, mango, lime, jasmine, and elderflower.
